Due to seating & class availability, all class registrants must comply with the policies set below. The policies set forth are not intended to hinder or impede a registrant's educational experience, but are meant to help guide a registrant when unexpected events occur. In general, when Loudoun County government announces a Liberal Leave Policy in effect, committee meetings and classes are cancelled. In the case of special classes where instructors are brought in from outside the area, such as Designation Courses, you should call our number after 7 AM and check our special announcements message. As far as closing the office is concerned, that call will be made the morning of the day in question and there also will be an announcement on the phones.

Designation Courses, Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing and Continuing Education Classes Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation requests (written or phoned) will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. 7 calendar days preceding each class. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the close of business on that day. Requests for refund consideration due to extenuating circumstances must be received in writing within 15 days after the class start date, addressed to the Director, Professional Development at lminthorne@dullesarea.com.

Absence – 60 hour Principles of Real Estate Course and any Broker License Course

One excused absence is permitted provided the student turns in an agreed upon assignment to the instructor.
