VA agents wanting to get a WV license need an application (a green sheet) ordered from the WV Real Estate Commission (WVREC) plus a Certificate of Licensure from the VA DPOR (order form off web), and three forms which they can copy from www.wvrec.org , i.e., irrevocable consent for service, bond in amount of $2,000 and affidavit of residency. Once all this has been received, completed and compiled, send to WVREC, plus $50 to get reciprocal WV license. Brokers follow the same procedure but use broker's application (yellow form) and the fee is $100. All WV licenses expire on 31 June EACH YEAR and 7 hrs of continuing ed are needed to renew. Some courses are combined for VA/WV -- however, not all CE is approved by either State, even if approved by the other.
